No one likes divorce. It's painful and often messy. The unfortunate fact of divorce is that often time's kids are caught in the middle. During this time you need a good child custody lawyer to ensure that they aren't dealt with like a piece of property.

Child Custody Lawyer - Helping You to Put Your Child's Interest First

No matter what you may think a mum doesn't always get custody of the children. A good child custody lawyer will help the court see that you are the best parent to be responsible for them. The judge will rule whom your kid lives with mainly and he'll base it on what he believes is in their best interest. Your lawyer can help the judge to see that you are the best option for your kids.

If you are simply seeking a joint arrangement or visitation possession for them a lawyer will be able to help you negotiate with your spouse the terms and conditions in which you can be a part of your kid's life. If you are the one your kid's lives, then he can support you and your ex in figuring out when are the best times for your previous spouse to see you child. Your ex can then take the children on an outing or overnight stay, if that is what is agreed upon, on those days without issue. If you and your ex both want the children to live with you, and the court has no cause to keep your children out of either you or your spouse's home, and live close enough together it might be best to have a joint arrangement. Your legal aid can help you with the details of this type of arrangement which would allow your children to stay with you for so many days, weeks or months before going to live with your ex for a similar whole of time.

Sometimes what parents need assistance with is support. Lawyers can help with that too. How to Get a Fresh Start

No.1 Article of Phoenix Assisted Living

Recently I attended the Fresh Start Women's Foundation morning meal fund raiser in Phoenix, Az. I heard remarkable testimonials from women who had found a way to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives through the workshops and aid at the Fresh Start Foundation.

That got me reasoning that often what you need in your sales firm is a fresh start, but it isn't always easy to accomplish on your own. Often you need assistance.

I'm sure I could come up with 12 things you need to do to give yourself a fresh start in business, but I refuse to do that. Why? Because I personally get either bored, overwhelmed, or discouraged when I see long lists of all the things I "should" be doing to make my firm better.

After essential concept I've decided that the best way I can aid you in giving your firm a fresh start is to share with you one phrase that can positively impact your firm and your life overnight. Yeah right! As if one minute phrase can convert a business.

All right. I admit that the phrase won't convert your firm but implementing the advice within will. Now before I relate those three words, have some fun and take a guess what the three words are.

Do it now. Did you take a guess when I first asked you or when I told you to do it now? If you waited until I said, "Do it now," you're probably starting to understand why I think those are such great words.

The more you begin telling yourself, "Do it now," as opposed to "Do that later when..." the more you will accomplish and achieve.

If you adopt this one habit of doing what you think of doing now, it will amaze you how much and how quickly your firm improves. If you have prospecting calls to make. Make them now instead of later.

The way you give yourself a fresh start in firm or in life is to do something that you haven't been doing. Give yourself a fresh start. Do it now. You accomplish that by doing right now something that you've been putting off. Do it now.

When you do what you need to do now, all the thoughts of what you have to do later aren't there to weigh you down. You can't fantasize how freeing that is unless you're already in the habit of doing it now. You'll even inspect that you have time to do more things that you want to do.

Think about the last time you went on vacation. Chances are that you had a zillion things you had to get done the day before leaving. How did you get them all done in one day? anything was on your list, you did it now. You didn't wait for a great time. You just did it and then checked it off your list.

Well, when you give yourself a fresh start today, which of policy you can do each and every day, you don't need to make a list. I said it already but I'll say it again, give yourself a fresh start by simply doing anything you've been meaning to do. And do it now!

Do you know about - Broken Open - seeing Our Soul in Times of accident

Assisted Living Phoenix! Again, for I know. Ready to share new things that are useful. You and your friends.

In times of great stress--emotional, financial, health, or relational--our notions of safety, self-sufficiency, and fairness take a beating and we, in the process, often find ourselves "broken open" into greatest vulnerability. It is particularly difficult when we feel "bad things are happening to good people." Being broken open feels like a humiliation, a defeat, a failure, a betrayal. But what I'm continuing to learn is that, as hard as it is, being broken open may be just what we needed to happen. Many times we need to find new pathways to inner drive to persevere and stand up for ourselves. We also may need to learn how to ask for help from all sources like never before and we may find out who is honestly in our corner and to what degree. Often, times of crises seem to be the only way to get our attention.

What I said. It is not outcome that the true about Assisted Living Phoenix. You check this out article for information about what you need to know is Assisted Living Phoenix.

How is Broken Open - seeing Our Soul in Times of accident

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from Assisted Living Phoenix.

There's been a few times in my life where I've been broken open by crisis. I'm sure the time colse to my parents' divorce--when I was 10 or 11--was one. Someone else was when I ultimately hit my lowest in 1990--around age 25--after nearly a decade of secretive shoplifting and stealing, I became ready to come clean, get help, and change my life. I experienced a separate kind of emergency in 2001 after buying my first home, enthralling in with my fiancée, and quitting my job--all within a 30-day period. Too much change at once can cause greatest turbulence. In each case, a radical shift in my personal identity took place. Lately, I am seeing how my role of the hero and good-son is costing me.

You may recall having heard that, in Chinese, the word emergency is formed by two detach characters: "danger" and "opportunity." Others refer to these times as "spiritual emergencies" wherein our spirits are being called forth to emerge in some new way. It is a painful but principal process if we are to truly grow. The hope is we can become stronger, wiser, more authentic, more whole. I trust this is what I am experiencing currently and many others are as well: vulnerability, a perceived loss of control, helplessness.

I have been reminded lately of the Rumi poem, Prayer is an Egg which, near the end, includes these lines:

"...I am stuck in the mud of my life. Help me out of this! They will answer, those kings: "The time for helping is past. The plow stands there in the field. You should have used it." Then you turn to the left, where your family is, and they will say, "Don't look at us! This conversation is between you and your creator." Then you pray the prayer that is the essence of every ritual: God, I have no hope. I am torn to shreds. You are my first and last and only refuge. Don't do daily prayers like a bird pecking, enthralling its head up and down. Prayer is an egg. Hatch out the helplessness inside." --Rumi

Recently, I stumbled upon the book entitled Broken Open: How Difficult Times Help Us Grow by Elizabeth Lesser (2005, Villiard Press). Ms. Lesser is one of the co-founders of The Omega produce in north New York and has been an author and therapist for many years. I highly advise this book. It is filled with her personal stories and stories of many others she has known and worked with who have gone straight through difficult times.

Ms. Lesser's main installation seems to be that we all go straight through tough times at some point or Someone else and that we have two primary choices or responses: resist what is happening, kicking and screaming the whole way, possibly just trying to survive the ordeal; or, find a way to more fully feel what we need to feel, stop resisting what is, find good support, and allow ourselves to be broken open which, ultimately, will lead to a profound metamorphosis of who we are or think we are. Admittedly, I started with response #1 and am just enthralling into response #2.

Ms. Lesser uses the terms "the Once-Born" and "the Twice-Born" writing: "Once-Born citizen do not stray from the familiar territory of who thy think they are and what they think are imaginable of them. If fate pushes them to the edge of Dante's sublime dark woods--where the straight way is lost--they turn back. They don't want to learn something from life's darker lessons. They stay with what seems safe, and what is thorough to their family and society. They stick to what they already know but don't necessarily want. Once-born citizen may go straight through life and never even know what lies beyond the woods--or that there are woods at all.

"A Twice-Born person pays attention when the soul pokes its head straight through the clouds of a half-lived life. Whether straight through choice or calamity, the Twice-Born person goes into the woods, loses the straight way, makes mistakes, suffers loss, and confronts that which needs to change within himself in order to live a more genuine and radiant life... Twice-Born citizen use the difficult changes in their outer lives to make the harder changes within. While Once-Born citizen avoid or deny or bitterly accept the unpredictable changes of real life, Twice-Born citizen use adversity for awakening. Betrayal, illness, divorce, the demise of a dream, the loss of a job, the death of a loved one--all these can function as initiations into deeper life... Twice-Born citizen trade the safety of the known for the power of the unknown."

It is scary to think about death--not just actual death but the death of the self as we've come to believe is who we are. There's the old saying: "what doesn't kill you will make you stronger." I'm not sure that's all the time true. We may survive a emergency but if it leaves us feeling embittered and closed--is that honestly coming out stronger? No. Thus, it appears we must allow ourselves to be vulnerable enough to be transformed--like a snake shedding its skin of the false self--in order to emerge stronger. Twice-born.

I must say that I am grateful that, despite this most difficult time in my life, my salvage from addiction has remained strong. I've prolonged to go to meetings, including returning to Alanon, and I am eternally grateful for the consistent and unconditional love and support I've received from many in my life, especially my wife and some of my closest buddies.

Also, I've returned to reading Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now. Tolle's book has been helpful in reminding me how much of my stress and anxiety is obviously related to my thoughts about losing control of my life and fearing what might happen in the future. Many of us have great strangeness staying in the day, let alone the moment. But doing our best to focus on our breath and what is here right now can help relax us greatly. Further, I can report to what Tolle says about our over-identification with the ego self--the part that we see as succeeding or failing--which is not even the true essence of who we are. He recounts his sublime awakening while a deep depression when he kept thinking "I can't live with myself any longer" and, thus, pondered: do I have two selves or one? Who is this self I can't live with? Is that the real me or some figment of my imagination?

You might also recall Gary Zukav as the guy who was on Oprah normally ten years ago and who didn't even know who she was when she contacted him after reading his book. Chapters 5 and 6 of The Seat of The Soul are on point for those of us struggling with a sense of fracture in our lives. Zukav uses the term "splintered" self or personality: we're not whole when we're living our lives as if roles in a script. All life events and all relationships are here to assist us in seeing our truest selves and, often, it's the most difficult ones that teach us the most. He also talks directly about how addictions are nothing more than soul choices we make to stay small or safe and how, once we get into recovery, temptations to relapse are, essentially, gifts of chance to choose between going backwards or forwards, helping our soul to grow.

Yoga and meditation and nature walks have been helpful for me as I've lost my center many times of late. In yoga, there is a saying called "find your edge" which means lean into what feels uncomfortable in your body and mind so you push straight through a bit but don't overextend and go beyond your edge. The same can be said of meditation when our minds get so restless and our thoughts race that we feel we're going insane and have to stop. Being broken open by life feels painful honestly because it feels as if we've gone beyond our edge, beyond what we're capable of handling or managing. It feels like we're going to die. If we hang in there, though, we likely won't die physically but some part of our lesser or false self might be dying in order to birth our deeper soul. chance to the harmony and charm of nature colse to us is a healing balm for our souls, too.

The Serenity Prayer also can be very helpful in times of emergency as we struggle with what we can control and what we can't. I'm learning again about my limits over other human beings and it's a rude wake-up call. In the case of my lawsuit, all I can do is do my best to carry on with my work--part of my soul's mission and life purpose--while letting my lawyers do their job and trusting that, anything happens, I can walk in dignity that I've stood up for my rights and my beliefs.

When predators smell weakness, they do all they can to prey upon that. I am not a victim. I will get straight through this and be the stronger for it. I also recently re-read the first merge of chapters of Dr. Phil's first book Life Strategies which recounts how he met Oprah Winfrey in the late 1990's when she was being sued by the Cattleman's Association, headquartered in Amarillo, Texas for 0 Million after airing a show about Mad Cow disease.

Like many, Oprah could not believe this was happening to her. Then she was inevitable the case would blow over quickly. It didn't. Then she was sure it would at least get dismissed and not go to trial. It didn't. He shared that her vulnerability was very natural--even the toughest of us get scared--but he was hired by her to help her win her court case and he had to coach Oprah out of denial, out of her victim mode, out of her naive confidence that the truth and justice would prevail no matter what--and into claiming her truth, her power, and not taking anything for granted; he coached her back into her warrior spirit.

Where is your warrior spirit right now? Sometimes, first, we have to be broken open before we arise again like the phoenix and gawk and claim our deeper, more authentic power.

Of course, there may also be a cost to rising up in defense of ourselves: time, money, energy, and the possibility we may lose the battle. Some even say that to defend ourselves is playing into the illusion that we are honestly being attacked and that we can never find safety here. I just recently stumbled upon A policy of Miracles again. Acim is a spiritual text which has an uncanny way of turning upside down almost all our well-held beliefs in order to palpate a radical shift in our sense of peace.

Lesson #153 from Acim is: "In my defenselessness, my safety lies." Some of this lesson's text includes the following: "You who feel threatened by this changing world, its twists of fortune and its bitter jests, its brief relationships and all the "gifts" it merely lends to take away again; attend this episode well. The world provides no safety. It is rooted in attack, and all its "gifts" of seeming safety are illusory deceptions. It attacks, and then it attacks again. No peace of mind is inherent where danger threatens thus.

"The world gives rise but to defensiveness. For threat brings anger, anger makes attack seem reasonable, honestly provoked, and righteous in the name of self-defense. Yet is defensiveness a double threat. For it attests to weakness, and sets up a system of defense that cannot work. Now are the weak still supplementary undermined, for there is treachery without and still a greater treachery within. The mind is now confused, and knows not where to turn to find escape from its imaginings.

"It is as if a circle held fast, wherein Someone else circle bound it and Someone else one in that, until escape no longer can be hoped for nor obtained. Attack, defense; defense, attack, become the circles of the hours of the days that bind the mind in heavy bands of steel with iron overlaid, returning but to start again. There seems to be no break nor ending in the ever-tightening grip of the imprisonment of the mind."

Certainly, we can see this in the cycles of violence in the world, between individuals as well as nations. And we also see in Buddhist doctrine the belief of suffering as rooted in attachment to things in life which, by nature, are impermanent. We crave and suffer and we have aversions and suffer. We're Whether trying to hold on to what we want so it won't be taken away or we resist what is happening, wishing it wasn't.

So, within the paradox of selecting the best path--whether to fight or surrender--maybe there's deeper lessons to be learned.

Home Appliance Dangers

--Assisted Living In Phoenix of Home Appliance Dangers--

my explanation Home Appliance Dangers

Over the past century, there has been no lack of new innovations to make our lives supposedly easier and more efficient. By extension, of course, our lives are supposed to be best off for the advent of these varied household appliances and their technical wizardry. Though this is typically the case (for those who really make use of the devices instead of letting them fetch dust), it is with regrettable frequency that both small and large home appliances cause members of a household to suffer serious or even fatal injuries.

Home Appliance Dangers

While many of these devices come with schooling manuals that frame some of the definite dangers that a singular goods may hold, these written materials often fail to fully express the range of potential hazards. They really lack any direct engagement with the real world circumstances in which the appliances are likely to be used and deployed, instead surface only those elements that are required by law or regulation. Depending upon the full facts of the situation, it may be standard to think filing a lawsuit against the manufacturer of a home appliance that causes you or your loved one to suffer injury when it is used as intended.

Sources of Household Injury

Perhaps the most alarming thing about the threat posed by household appliances is that it comes from both the objects that seem relatively inoffensive and also from those that are obviously coupled with some degree of potential danger. It is incumbent upon the owner or operator of a expedient to be aware of the hazards that are to be improbable and to use it as prescribed by the directions and tasteless sense. There is minute planning that can be done, however, to avert disaster when form defects, manufacturing defects, or malfunctions present themselves in the form of an accident.

Some of the household appliances that may prove perilous and some of the potential adverse effects that a person might contact include:

Toasters and Convection Ovens - May cause electrical shock or start fires Garbage Disposals, Food Processors, and Trash Compactors - Can start due to electrical surge and lead to amputations or severe lacerations Gas Stoves and Water Heaters - Improperly built gas lines can cause gas to leak, creating an explosive danger and the possibility of poisoning; poorly functioning water heaters can lead to scalding burns Space Heaters - If unstable they may tip over and cause fires, also pose electrical risk
Product Liability Professionals

If you have suffered injuries that have required you to seek medical attention, then it may be in your best interest to contact a skilled and experienced attorney. Mature Age Students: The New Generation Our health Care Sector Needs?

#1. Mature Age Students: The New Generation Our health Care Sector Needs?

Mature Age Students: The New Generation Our health Care Sector Needs?

The mature age student is learning because they select to. Often they have come to a point in their lives where, through experiences both good and bad, they have found themselves, their passions and desires and are now ready to commit to doing something with those drivers. Generation X is not your typical mature age student. They are generally men and women who are no longer under their parent's roof, and are manufacture a life for themselves with dinky aid from tasteless avenues of support. Many are raising children single-handedly.

Mature Age Students: The New Generation Our health Care Sector Needs?

The mature aged student frequently juggles multiple jobs, children, a standing in their community, a group life, their studies, and a never ending thirst to be better, to do more and to make their lives worth something greater than the individual.

The women are not pursuing marriage as a mechanism for material safety and well being. They are out there doing it for themselves and often alone. The men are also doing it hard, trying to find their place in a community which has emasculated them since the feminism movement took root. They have kids, but not necessarily living under the same roof.

So where is the keep for the mature aged X Gen who have played hard, defined themselves through experiential means, who have burned themselves out on striving for achievements, money, fame, fortune, professional prowess, and recognition. These 'X-Genners' have risen like the proverbial phoenix out of the fires of oppression known as the former husband/wife scenario and into the world of self keep and fierce independence. But with this independence there comes a price. Our freedom has set us loose from our keep networks of parents, wives, husbands, partners and we find ourselves disconnected from each other and more problematic, from ourselves.

Often our gypsy-like nature has resulted in unstable living arrangements, high debt and dinky aid to help facilitate a life convert into the next phase of self development. Our quest has been to live hard, learn much and at the end of it all, we find ourselves thinking... There has to be more to life than this. We are ready to step into our power and pass on what we have learned to our communities.

The X Generation is the new movement in health care of this nation. In recent years there has been a massive influx of X-Genners returning to formal and informal studies, many of us have not before completed an undergraduate degree, and we are generally turning to fields of studies that are wholly unrelated to our former lives. Amongst the students I cross paths with through my mindfulness and meditation training is aspiring nurses, group workers, psychologists, bio-med and education. These progressive and open minded students are intent upon affecting curative convert upon the world. They are the souls that will guide our next generation of children and teens into a peaceful, curative and authentic society. Interestingly, their drive to curative pursuits comes from their own direct contact with trauma, illness and major life disruptions that have forced a dissimilar view, a new way of being.

And what a great place for them to direct their attentions. They are perfectly powerful to the health care industry. These students are well traveled, have a wealth of personal first hand contact of how tough the world can be if in a weakened or dis-empowered position in society. They have industrialized a deep emotional intelligence, comprehension and compassion for their world and they have grown to know themselves intimately. Many of them have moved from being cared for, to being the carers of children, parents and grandparents.

Yet, the admirable qualities of tenacity, resilience, motivation and passion that the mature aged student possesses along with their multi-skilled and learned talents seem to have no keep from government or other organisations to keep their transition into this new era.

The government desperately needs the mature age student. The severe shortage of health workers is becoming an epidemic of mythic proportions. Government is throwing money at instruction facilities in the form of scholarships and bursaries, discounted health care programs, commonwealth supported undergraduate degrees and Austudy. And yet, we are faced with a post-study debt that continues to make study a financially debilitating endeavour.

Most of the Government subsidies such as Austudy are aimed at school leavers, many whom are still living with parents or have financial keep from house members, This subsidy doesn't even cover the rent for most mature aged students, in fact challenging from Newstart allowance to Austudy in order to study full time, rent aid is removed entirely. Why is it assumed that if you are an older student you no longer pay rent?

Centrelink Newstart offers marginally more financial support, but only if you are seeing for full time work whilst studying. Working full time precludes full time study if either is going to be of any worthwhile quality. Part time study requires part time work, but this is no-mans land and there is no keep at all, and yet this is the reality for the majority of mature aged students with house commitments thrown in.

The Commonwealth supported placements in health care have helped, certainly, but does the government understand how high-priced the educational costs such as books, equipment, uniforms, extracurricular requirements such as vaccinations, Cpr certificates, tour to placements, etc. Are for the student in a health linked undergraduate degree, not to mention the ancillary costs like day care and days of work lost due to placements, residential schools, lectures and tutes. It's astronomical.

Educational Institutions are trying, but still falling short in helping mature aged students to make ends meet and raise their families whilst noses are in the books. Many Universities have grants and equity funding for financial hardship situations, but these programs are not promoted. Flexible, online and distance instruction is becoming a very productive and do-able formula of learning offered by many Universities and this challenging use of technology is to be commended. I would like to see more educational institutions offering crèche or day care services with government or student services subsidy to support parents to get to lectures, libraries and allow study time on campus. This would greatly ease the pressures of juggling commitments around house responsibilities.

In these trying financial times, when managing the cost of living has raised beyond the reach of most single earnings families, it seems remiss for the government to leave the financial aid to independent charities and welfare organisations such as the Salvation Army and the Smith Family. But for many, turning to welfare aid has come to be a depressing and humbling reality... 'Thank God for the Salvos' has come to be a tasteless catch cry.

I am a single, white, female who doesn't own my own home, who stands independently from her parents, with two toddlers who require full time focus and attention, and who has experienced the pain and suffering of the world alongside the wondrous and exciting. I have trialed all that life has to offer, and now I wish to give back via the health care industry. Am I a minority? No. I am the archetype of the next generation of health care workers. I am an example of the type of student the instruction theory needs, the type of laborer the health theory needs - desperately. I am at a point in life where, through first hand experience, I have learned what it is to care for self and others, and I have honed the skills of commitment, self motivation, compassion and accountability with which to effect at my goals.

There is a myriad of keep for the under-privileged, uneducated and inexperienced, but virtually nothing for those in the world who are older, and trying to do it for ourselves, who are following our passions despite the challenges and road blocks... And we are ready to help others. We have paid our taxes, we have worked hard, and we are now changing directions. The government and educational institutions need to keep up and lend a greater hand.

The Best customer assistance Ever

#1. The Best customer assistance Ever

The Best customer assistance Ever

I am a huge fan of good buyer aid and will bonus good buyer aid providers with repeat business and will extremely suggest the business to friends and co-workers.These days it seems that many businesses do not focus much on providing a good full, buyer aid experience. What they may not comprehend is that for a good experience, I (as an average consumer) might go to their store instead of someone else for good buyer service, even if they are farther away or even more costly than competitors. Why? I value businesses who value me as a customer.

The Best customer assistance Ever

The best buyer aid I ever experienced took place in a restaurant and surely went beyond buyer service. It could be better described as human kindness and consideration. On a beautiful October Sunday morning, after attending church, my husband and I decided we would go get a bite to eat. We were living in my hometown of Tucson, Arizona. We went to the Mimi's Cafe on the projection of Broadway and Kolb. There we sat, my husband, 5 year old daughter, 15 month old son and me. I had ordered a crème (of something) soup for my son and was having to blow on each spoonful to cool it down. I briefly turned to help my daughter with her meal and did not notice my son take the spoon and feed himself a large spoonful of the hot soup. His reaction was immediate. Loud crying, coughing and the look: He was about to vomit.

I fast grabbed him from the high chair and ran to the ladies room knowing it was inevitable. As we entered, it came gushing out. With barely time to get to the sink, it spewed out all over the place - hot soup, crackers and the milk and cereal consumed earlier that day. It was on the sink, on the floor, on my son and on me. Before I could form out how to proceed, in came our server. She had been friendly, courteous and productive in her duties prior to this incident. Her duties, I thought, ended at the table. But here she was. She had dashed in behind me and had even recruited someone else server to help. They cleaned all things up in a matter of minutes. As if performing a meticulously choreographed habit they each did their part, together with considered wiping my soiled dress and boots. They sent us back to the dining area with soda and crackers, in case my son still had an upset stomach.

I walked back to the table in a daze. Though I had thanked them emphatically some times, the words somehow seemed empty. A easy "thank you" was not enough to carry what I surely felt. Needless to say, we left a handsome tip and I felt compelled to e-mail the business to express my appreciation and gratitude at the server's actions to support me, which clearly went beyond the call of duty. I was notifed that they would notify her boss and pass on the words of praise. Though we now live in the Phoenix area, and have not been back to that single Mimi's, I often talk about and will never forget the kindness of the servers and the good judgment of the business that employed them. It seems the business maintains a high thorough for buyer service, as I cannot say I have ever experienced anyone but good aid at any of the Mimi's restaurants. Nothing, of course, like the aid I experienced on that one occasion. One thing is certain, it was by far the best buyer aid I had ever experienced.

How to Stretch Your Training funds (Without Compromising Quality) - Tip 2

How to Stretch Your Training funds (Without Compromising Quality) - Tip 2

With all of the virtual training solutions out there, it can be amazing when it comes to choosing, organizing and delivering virtual training, especially if you're a training and improvement division on a budget. If you're finding for a quick, simple to set up and control virtual training solution, Skype could be just the label for you.

How to Stretch Your Training funds (Without Compromising Quality) - Tip 2

Tip #2: Skype multiple Locations for Free

Do you spend money to send or bring citizen to your onsite training classes? Are you paying for the same training at multiple locations, and finding for a low-cost, low-tech, but highly efficient virtual meeting solution? The last onsite transportation training policy I delivered was a business writing policy (Business Writing the Easy Way, through Power Diversity) where any offices attended in varied states using Skype for free. It was efficient, easy, and saved the business a lot of money. All you need are laptops, webcams, and a free Skype account. Skype has its limitations, and pros and cons, but overall, it's a great no-cost explication if you just have a few locations, and you'd like the citizen at those locations trained simultaneously. Here's how you do it:

1- Send all training materials to everyone who will be involved, both live and virtually. We discuss ways to save money on training materials in some of our other tips in this series.

2- Go to Skype.com and set up some free accounts. We have found that it's easiest if you set up two simple accounts for each satellite location that's going to be Skyping the training, and give them easy catalogue names. For example, if you're having live onsite training in Albuquerque, and you have offices in Phoenix and Tucson that you'd like to share as well, you'd set up 4 accounts--2 for Phoenix, maybe named PdandCophoenix1, and PdandCophoenix2, and 2 for Tucson, maybe PdandCotucson1 and PdandCotucson2 (Once you set up your account, you very beyond doubt add new ones to your dialing pad on any computer. If you've never used Skype, trust us, it's very user-friendly--even my father can use it).

3- Get your tool ready. All you need are a few laptops and webcams. The computers with the webcams built in tend to be the easiest, and ordinarily a few citizen at work will have way to them; if not, you can use any computer and plug a webcam into it. You can get a beyond doubt decent webcam these days for under 0. Important: You will need to have one computer and webcam for each satellite location to be trained. For example, if the training were as we described earlier, with live onsite training in Albuquerque, and with satellite offices in Phoenix and Tucson, you would need two computers at the main onsite training event, and one at each satellite office Skyping in. Make sure that every satellite location to be trained has at least one computer/webcam hookup and a meeting room that participants can use while accessing the internet on this computer. Better yet, have them associate that laptop to a bigger Tv for viewing at each satellite location.

4- Arrive early to the live onsite training event, and set up the webcams/computers up front with a good view of the instructor or keynote speaker. Each computer/webcam that will share in training will need to log in to a cut off Skype account, as described in step number one above. Using our customary example, the easiest way to do this is as follows: At the live onsite training location we would log in under PdandCophoenix1, and PdandCotucson1. Then the office in Phoenix would log in under PdandCophoenix2, and Tucson would log in PdandCotucson2. We have simply found it easier if the live onsite training location always uses the 1 at the end of the screen name, and the satellite offices use a 2 at the end of theirs.

5- Skype (call using Skype) the satellite offices from the main training offices about an hour before the training begins, so that everyone can get online and make obvious that their cameras/equipment are properly adjusted. This means there will be distinct connections for every satellite office. Of course, you'll want to fill in yourself with Skype and how it works before this, but again, it's very easy to use, and they have a great buyer aid team to help you. (No, I'm not affiliated with Skype, nor do they pay me a commission of any sort for all this amazing exposure I'm giving them!)

6- while the training, remember to have the speaker or instructor comprise the audiences inside the webcams at the front of the room. Draw them in so they enjoy the virtual training experience. They should have the same materials and be finding and hearing the same thing that your live audience is hearing.

Tip: The last time we used this Skype explication for group training, it worked perfectly. Funny how simple it can be to save money with very little effort. The business requiring training saved thousands of dollars without compromising the virtual speaker impact or onsite training quality.  However, having said that, it should be noted that regardless of materials or medium used, the greatest success of any training argument depends upon the transportation skills, style, expertise, and knowledge of the trainer.

Of course, potential and content are our customary concerns, and will remain so as we continue to provide you supplementary money-saving tips that will help you stretch your training dollar. Look for subsequent articles with more tips for delivering first-class onsite training and keynote speaker events within your budget.

The Tragedy Called Assam

--Assisted Living In Phoenix of The Tragedy Called Assam--

dig this The Tragedy Called Assam

On 30 October 2008, The Indian state Assam was trounced by an additional one atrocious serial blast that had killed at least 77 innocent civilians. The media had termed the blasts as the 'worst-ever' terrorist strike in Assam. For decades, this ill fated state is passing straight through a continuing sequence of hatred, suspicion, violence and ethnic division. Today, this once thriving land is one of the most economically backward and problem-ridden states of India. The state has a meager economic growth; many areas are still left untouched from development. Maltreatment of consecutive governments has promoted many of the genuine grievances of the Assamese people and helped the continuing conflicts and misconceptions to thrive. To form a definite thought on this terrorist strike, it seems primary to chronologically study the very involved history of the state. It is also crucial to carefully peel straight through the many layers of facts and viewpoints to get near the core truth.

The Tragedy Called Assam

Prologue

The eight states of the North-East region of India comprise over 200 determined ethnic groups. Assam alone is the home of about 20 large and small ethnic groups. Having ancestral relation with neighbour countries like China, Myanmar, Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan and sharing 98 per cent of its border with them, this land and its ethnic inhabitants has historically remained distanced from mainland India.

Human migration was an ongoing phenomenon in the Brahmaputra Valley for over the centuries. Various immigrant groups, most of them Mongoloids, had entered the region from neighbouring South-East Asian countries. The Ahoms, a Tai-Mongoloid group, immigrated to Assam during 13th century from China and consolidated their position to organize the Ahom Kingdom that ruled Assam for the next 600 years. In 1818, the Burmese invaded Assam and forced the Ahom king to leave the kingdom. Finally, in 1826 the British drove out the Burmese and Assam came under British domination. Although the power of Ahom Kingdom started to decline from the second half of the 18th century, the territory remained mostly unconquered from any outside power (except for the brief periods between 1663 to 1667 by the Mughals and 1818 to 1826 by the Burmese invasion) till the British took over.

British rule and increase of 'anti-Bengali' syndrome

After their takeover, the British revived Assam to one of the wealthier states of their regime with industrial and infrastructural developments. The tea manufactures was built up; high sufficient oil fields were discovered. The British brought in English educated Bengali officials to Assam to run the tea plantations and the civil aid of the British raj. Since 1826, educated Bengali middle class Hindus held prominent positions in the colonial management and other prominent professions like teachers, doctors, lawyers and magistrates. They also managed to introduce and begin Bengali as the executive language of Assam. In 1905, the Viceroy of India Lord Curzon divided Bengal Presidency (undivided Bengal) into East and West Bengal. Assam was merged with the new Muslim majority province of East Bengal. However, in 1911 British Government annulled the Bengal Partition due to heavy political unrest in West Bengal. Assam was restored to its earlier status as a Chief Commissioner's Province. But this time the British did an additional one damaging act by integrating Bengali speaking Cachar, Goalpara and Sylhet with Assam province.

The British organize to merge Assam with East Bengal had hurt the ethnic pride of local Assamese people. The decision was perceived by them as an indication that the Britishers are adversely treating their homeland as an postponement of Bengal. Despite the fact that the middle class Bengali Hindus has made gargantuan contributions to the amelioration of Assam's oil wealth, manufactures and administration, the authority and power exercised by them over the ethnic Assamese and treating them with arrogance and contempt had ensued grave frustration and a fear of cultural subordination. Moreover, the continuing large-scale influx of lower class Bengali Muslims was perceived as a demographic conquest by Bengalis to overpower local Assamese - those who were whether Hindus or animists. As a result, a deep 'anti-Bengali' syndrome advanced in the psyche of the ethnic Assamese mass. Hostility, mistrust and socio-cultural conflicts aggravated between the two major linguistic groups and have set the fertile ground for a full scale future confrontation.

Muslim immigration and the linguistic conflict

During the British rule, a big mass of Muslims had emigrated from undivided Bengal to Assam. Local Assamese people were living mostly in Upper Assam and cultivating one crop per year. They were less curious about working in the tea gardens or increasing their agricultural productivity. Hence, to work in the tea gardens, the British tea planters started to import labourers from central India - generally from Bihar. British entrepreneurs had also actively encouraged landless Bengali speaking Muslim peasants to migrate from the populous East Bengal into the lowlands of Assam to work and organize the vast virgin lands. These poor peasant labourers were hardworking in nature and ready to work with minimal wages. They toiled hard on the waste lands of Lower Assam and transformed it into fertile agricultural fields. The influx of peasant labourers increased with the 1941 Land settlement Policy. A British government 1931 census narrative stated that only in Nagaon district, the whole of Bengali settlers has gone up between 1921 and 1931 by two thirds, from 300,000 to 500,000. The narrative also observed that places like Nagaon, Barpeta, Darrang, Kamrup and North Lakimpur were 'invaded' by settlers arrival from Mymensingh district of East Bengal. These peasant Bengali immigrants made Assam their home and made a primary offering to the agricultural cheaper of the state.

In the primary months prominent up to Partition, Assam was again in the verge of getting merged with East Pakistan. The Congress High Command and the Muslim League agreed on the Cabinet mission proposal for regrouping of Assam with the eastern part of Bengal, which was to go away with Pakistan. The move was fiercely opposed by Gopinath Borodoloi, the stalwart Congress leader of Assam with the backing of Mahatma Gandhi. Borodoloi successfully prevented the regrouping plan and saved Assam from becoming a part of Pakistan. Combined with the gift day territories of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram and Meghalaya, Assam sans the pre-dominantly Muslim district of Sylhet, Assam became a state of the Union of India. A July 29, 1947 editorial in Assam Tribune, noted that "...the Assamese people seem to feel relieved of a burden".

The frustration of this failure to comprise Assam with East Pakistan left a permanent blotch within a prominent section of orthodox Muslim leadership and reactionary religious groups. This abiding resentment was preserved in their minds as the cherished Islamic organize for a Greater Bangladesh which became the major source of future clashes.

Population influx of Bengali refugees, both Hindu and Muslims prolonged from East Bengal (now East Pakistan) in the post Partition period. It used to accelerate whenever natural calamities, economic or political instability affected East Pakistan. during this time, the ongoing linguistic disagreement between the Bengalis and Assamese acquired momentum and turned into a fierce agitation with one side demanding valid language status for Assamese and the other side defending the existing status of Bengali. The disagreement had a exact political undertone and in 1960-61 burst into violent language riots causing some deaths from both sides. In 1961, Assamese language received the valid language status by a legislation passed by the Government of Assam known as the 'Official Language Act'. However, under pressure from the predominantly Bengali speaking districts of Cachar, Hailakandi and Karimganj in the Barak Valley of southern Assam, the valid status of Bengali language was retained there.

After the Indo-China war in 1962, Arunachal Pradesh was separated out from Assam. The state was additional Balkanized with the formation of Meghalaya, Manipur and Nagaland in the years of 1960-70s.

Formation of Bangladesh

With the active help and intervention of the Indian government and army, Bangladesh (former East Pakistan) was liberated from the grip of Pakistan and was established as a sovereign secular republic in 1971. It became a very emotional event for the millions of Bengalis of India, who during the catastrophic Partition days were forcefully uprooted from their homeland in East Bengal and immigrate to India. The utterly traumatic events of Partition had left a profound consequent on their lives. In his sensitive films, Ritwik Kumar Ghatak has brilliantly displayed this emotion, longing and trauma of the refugee Bengali Hindu families. Bengali Hindu refugees and immigrants who came to India before or during or after Partition has always connected themselves with East Bengal and never with East Pakistan.

But liberation of Bangladesh also sharply increased a fresh influx of immigrants - thousands of Bangladesh nationals started pouring into the bordering states of Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya and West Bengal. The original presuppose of this exodus was economic. Bangladesh was a very populated country where 60 per cent of the people lived below the poverty line. Devastating natural calamities usually displace millions. Land alienation, poverty, unemployment and lack of adequate group infrastructure prompted the poor Bangladeshi nationals to immigrate into India for a best livelihood. between 1970 and 1974, the people of East Pakistan (Bangladesh after 1971) amazingly came down from 7.50 crores to 7.14 crores. Though, calculating by the each year people increase rate of 3.10 per cent, in 1974 it should nothing else but increase to 7.70 crores. It is widely believed that the shortfall of 5.60 million has nothing else but immigrated in India.

Twenty-four years have passed from 1947 to 1971 but the nostalgia and longing for desher bari (homeland) was still alive in the refugee hearts. Bangladesh's liberation generated a wider hope for reinstating their broken linkage and therefore created an ecstatic feeling among them. Though chauvinist-reactionary groups were gift in both the sides to spoil the jubilation, the enormity of the event temporarily demoralized and disbanded them. A normal mood of elation and friendship was prevailing among the two countries. Triumphant after the victory over Pakistan and temporarily blinded by its own war success, the Indian government at that point failed to scrutinize the consequence of this heavy influx from Bangladesh.

However this friendship and goodwill gently evaporated after the legendary leader and founder of Bangladesh Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was assassinated in 1975. Bangladesh finally discarded secularism in 1988 and declared Islam as the state religion.

The rise of Aasu

In the post-Bangladesh era, the Assamese-non Assamese disagreement turned in a statewide turmoil with the rise of the All Assam Students' Union (Aasu). Aasu came to prominence in 1979 with their 'peaceful' agitation (popularly called as the 'Assam Agitation') to uncover all illegal immigrants in Assam, deletion of their names from the electoral rolls and their deportation. Calling their movement 'the 18th war of independence', an allusion to the 17 wars fought by Assam's legendary King Lachit Borphukan, Aasu claimed that "infiltration and illegal migration is a potential threat to the integrity and sovereignty of the country as well as a demographic danger to the indigenous communities of Assam". The movement was nothing else but triggered by the discovery of a sudden rise in registered voters on electoral rolls. In the 1970s, the whole of registered voters in Assam jumped from 6.20 million to practically 9 million - the increase was mostly accounted for migrants from Bangladesh. Accusing the Congress party for protecting the migrants as a 'captive vote bank', Aasu constituted a broader platform called All Assam Gana Sangram Parishad (Aagsp) with representatives of Various organizations to augment the agitation against 'illegal immigrants'.

Taking benefit of the deep rooted sentiments and frustration of Assamese people against the settlers, Aasu and Aagsp successfully transmuted it into a full, popular movement with the clamoured call of 'Bideshi Khedao' (kick the foreigners out). Various social-political groups, personalities and intelligentsia played clandestine or active role in this six year long reactionary agitation. The mood of the agitation was well accounted by journalist Chaitanya Kalbagh: "Aside from the anti-foreigner sentiment, the movement has advanced other risky strains - anti-Bengali, anti-Left, anti-Muslim, anti-non Assamese, and gently but discernibly, even anti-Indian." (India Today, 1-15 May, 1980)

The Nellie massacre

Aasu had strongly opposed the 1980 Parliament elections and later the 1983 State Assembly choosing on the ground that the polls be adjourned till electoral rolls were cleansed of illegal immigrants. Amid the ongoing agitation, the Congress government went ahead for the State Assembly polls in February 1983. during the polls the state witnessed large-scale arson, group disturbances, group clashes and killings. The violence had no singular pattern - ethnic clashes between Assamese tribal and non-tribal; group clashes between local Hindus and immigrant Muslims and linguistic clashes between Assamese and Bengalis occurred all over the state.

On February 18, a day after the polling has concluded, the settlement of Nellie in Nagaon district, 34 miles north-east of Guwahati was virtually turned into a killing field by a horrific and brutal massacre. Agreeing to valid figures, on a singular day, 2191 innocent and very poor Bengali Muslims, mostly women and children, were butchered in broad daylight by Assamese Hindus and Lalung tribals. Twenty-five years have passed but the Nellie massacre still remains an very mysterious case where no one claimed accountability for the massacre, no judicial probe or independent enquiry was ever demanded by the Congress or the Aasu, a Commission of Inquiry was instituted but the 600-page narrative was never made group and not a singular someone was convicted. The Congress and subsequent Agp government suppressed all information and deliberately tried to rub off the gruesome and shameful lesson from the memory of Assam. (For an eyewitness account of the Nellie massacre see: Bedabrata Lahkar, Recounting a nightmare, Assam Tribune)

Enactment of Imdt Act

Despite the existence of the Foreigner's Act 1946 which gave the Indian Government determined powers to execute in respect of the entry, proximity and departure of foreigners inside the Indian Territory, the Indian parliament in 1983 enacted the Illegal Migrant measurement by Tribunal Act (Imdt). Unlike the existing Foreigner's Act which was applicable to the whole of India, Imdt Act was solely applicable to the state of Assam and projected as an instrument to detect illegal immigrants from Bangladesh and expel them. There were fundamental differences between the two acts. Agreeing to the Foreigners Act, a suspected illegal immigrant has to organize his/her nationality on their own whereas under the Imdt Act, the accountability of proving the citizenship of a suspected illegal immigrant lay on the complainant. The act was a focused political move initiated by Delhi - to spoil the growing affect of Aasu and to safe genuine Indian citizens affected by the Assam Agitation, both religious and linguistic, from the undue harassment of been termed as illegal. Interestingly, the Imdt Act was passed by a Parliament, which had no members from Assam due to a boycott of elections on this issue.

The Imdt Act was challenged in courts by Mp Sarbanand Sonowal of Agp. In 2005, a three-judge Bench of the consummate Court struck it down as unconstitutional and directed to set up fresh tribunals under the Foreigners Act, 1946 and Foreigners (Tribunal Order) 1964.

The Assam Accord

The violent 'direct action' agitation of Aasu prolonged for six consecutive years till the signing of the Assam Accord in August 15, 1985. The Assam Accord was a tripartite deal between Aasu, the government of Assam and the government of India. After much debate and negotiations, Aasu retracted from its earlier ask of deporting all migrants who came after 1951 as 'illegal' and agreed on to recognize March 25, 1971 (the day civil war in East Pakistan began) as the cut-off date to decree 'foreign infiltrators' in Assam.

Signing of the Assam Accord was notable as a political victory of Aasu. The state Assembly was dissolved and Hiteswar Saikia headed Congress government which came to power after the infamous February elections was dismissed. Within three months, Aasu was transformed into a regional political party called Asom Gana Parishad (Agp) on October 14, 1985. Fresh elections in December 1985 brought Agp in power. After arrival to power the Agp government adapted half-hearted and shortsighted measures to deal with the immigration problem. All cases connected with the Nellie massacre were dropped.

Though the Imdt Act had depraved political intentions and has basic flaws from its inception, it is very interesting to recall that Aasu or Agp did not raise any uproar about the shortcomings on identification, detection and deportation of illegal migrants in the act, which was enacted just two years before the Assam Accord. It was only after losing power in the 1991 assembly elections to Congress; Agp started a hue and cry about the defects of Imdt Act and demanded for its repeal.

The rise of armed insurgency

The vaporing situation in Assam for decades had paved the way for Various terrorist-insurgent groups of distinct scale and size to mushroom and commit scores of violent and mindless incidents like murders, triggering blasts, abductions for ransom, extortions and attacking of economic targets. The South Asia Terrorism Portal website has listed 36 such terrorist-insurgent groups in Assam. prominent among them are the United Liberation Front of Asom (Ulfa), National Democratic Front of Bodoland (Ndfb), United Liberation Front of Barak Valley (Ulfbv), Dima Halim Daogah (Dhd), Kamtapur Liberation organization (Klo), Muslim United Liberation Tigers of Assam (Multa), Muslim United Liberation Front of Assam (Mulfa), United People's Democratic Solidarity (Upds), Karbi Longri North Cachar Hills Liberation Front (Klnlf), Black Widow, Bodo Liberation Tigers (Blt) and Barak Valley Youth Liberation Front (Bvylf). Many of the smaller groups are nothing else but the offshoots of major groups. The objective of most of the groups is secession from the Indian State. However, except Ulfa, most of the secessionist insurgent outfits that had appeared during the turbulent days of 1979-1983 did not survive after the Assam Accord.

By going straight through the list, one will be startled to find that with the irregularity of Ulfa most of the groups have a exact ethnic-religious representation. It is seemingly determined that the root cause of armed insurgency in Assam is the full, and deep rooted ethnic cultural disagreement prevailing in the region that is fueled by the failure of subsequent governments and mainstream political parties to understand the local people's mind. The rise of ethnicity based insurgency and the separatist ask for sovereignty were the direct consequent of a normal feeling of alienation, dispossession and fury among the ethnic society which carefully that armed insurgency is the only way to make their voices heard. The proximity of about 20 large and small ethnic groups with differing reliance systems and way of life and the unique geographical location has facilitated the rapid amelioration of terrorist-insurgent activities in Assam.

There are also practically 14 Islamist terrorist outfits operating in Assam, those who attempts to mobilize the Muslim youths in Assam to fight for the 'cause of Muslims'. Pakistan and Bangladesh based foreign terrorist groups like Harkat-Ul-Mujaheedin, Harkat-Ul-Jihad, Jamat-Ul-Mujaheedin and Harkat-ul-Jihad-al Islami (HuJi) are also reportedly having active proximity in Assam. an additional one militant outfit named Islamic United Revolution safe of India (Iurpi) has been formed recently outside the Muslim dominated districts of Assam.

The menace called Ulfa

United Liberation Front of Asom (Ulfa) is a well organized, very influential, widely connected, enormously funded terrorist group active in Assam. during the height of anti-foreigner agitation, a hard line section parted from Aasu to form Ulfa. Born on the lawns of the historic Rang Ghar of Sibsagar on 7th April 1979, Ulfa leaders Rajiv Rajkonwar alias Arabinda Rajkhowa (chairman), Samiran Gogoi alias Pradip Gogoi (vice-chairman), Paresh Barua (chief of staff) and Golap Baruah alias Anup Chetia (general secretary) declared their aim of "liberating Assam from the illegal occupation of India" and to organize a 'sovereign socialist Assam'. By describing itself as a 'revolutionary political organization', Ulfa gave a militant manifestation to the anti-foreigner movement but initially remained concealed by acting along with Aasu.

There is a fundamental inequity between the ideologies of Aasu and Ulfa. Aasu's agitation was pointed against 'illegal immigrants' whereas Ulfa's struggle is solely against the Indian State: "to overthrow Indian colonial occupation from Assam". The Ulfa does not think itself a separatist or secessionist organization, as it claims that Assam was never a part of India. Arbinda Rajkhowa, chairman of Ulfa once said that, "India has been occupying Assam illegally like Kashmir, which was never an integral part of India". Ulfa claims that among the Various problems that people of Assam are confronting, the problem of national identity is the basic, and therefore represents "not only the Assamese nation but also the entire independent minded struggling peoples, irrespective of distinct race-tribe-caste-religion and nationality of Assam". It must be mentioned here that Ulfa has always refused to admit their involved in any ethnic or group violence but always admitted their role if the strike was against the Indian safety soldiery or any target symbolic to the Indian State like the state-owned oil pipelines. It is principally a secular outfit and fiercely against Hindu nationalist groups and the Bjp, calling it 'out and out a Hindu fundamentalist party'. After the Babri Masjid demolition in 1992, Ulfa was credited for stopping Hindu-Muslim riots 'by displaying arms openly' in the Hojai region of Nagaon district.

Ulfa's first cadre recruits were from Aasu. But later they started recruiting cadres directly, particularly from the rural belts. Even after the outfit was banned and Indian Army operations resumed in September 2006, the continuing proximity of Ulfa suggests that the organization has somehow maintained their rural influences and the pattern of cadre recruits. The outfit has a mixed cadre base comprising Assamese and ethnic tribals - even Bengali peasants. Ulfa is believed to have a trained cadre-strength of nearby 5,000 and possesses a huge cache of weapons for its insurgent activities.

Around the mid-80s Ulfa started showing its true face with low-intensity soldiery conflicts, political homicides and economic subversion and was soon recognized as a potent terror organization. By dividing insurgency activities between its political and soldiery wing Ulfa started raising huge funds straight through extortions and threatening rich businessmen and tea estate owners and also looted banks. The outfit's major operational area was the Dibrugarh-Tinsukia sector, the wealthiest tea-growing and oil producing region of Assam. practically every tea plantation paid an each year ransom to them. In 1986, Ulfa leaders established contacts with National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Nscn) and the Kachin Independence Army (Kia) of Myanmar to get arms and dispose for training of its cadres. The Kachins taught them the essentials of terrorist-insurgent tactics. One of its daring attacks was in May 1990 when Ulfa cadres killed Surendra Paul, one of the prominent tea planters in Assam and brother of notable Uk-based businessman Lord Swaraj Paul. The incident caused many tea estate managers to flee Assam. Soon the government sprung into action. The entire state of Assam was declared a 'disturbed area' and Ulfa was banned on November 1990 as a terrorist group. Since 1990, the Indian safety soldiery are engaged in Assam to stall Ulfa activities.

Controlling the Ulfa menace became a dilemma for the Agp government as the leaders of Aasu-Agp and Ulfa were the same lot of people, born from the same arena. "The cynical characterization of the same set of people as Assu in the morning, Government (Agp) at midday and Ulfa at night cannot be just laughed away" (M. Kar, Muslims in Assam Politics - 1946-1991, page 421; quoted in R. Upadhyay, Ulfa - A Deviated Movement?) Taking this advantage, Ulfa practically ran a parallel government in Assam, conducting trials of people and black mailing them for extorting money. The Agp government had also encouraged Ulfa activities to some extent to keep alive their confrontational politics and pressure over the Central Government. "The reasoning behind the unwillingness on the part of the Agp regime to confront the Ulfa lies in its eagerness to keep the terrorists actively alive to support its anti-centre leverage" (Ibid. Page 425). On the other hand, Ulfa's popularity and affect gained a spectacular rise from the rising disillusionment among the Assamese people against the Agp regime.

Contrary to its original ideological position of a revolutionary political organization and dumping its 'social-reform' activities, the Ulfa leadership has done a perfect volte-face when they transformed the outfit into a purely terrorist outfit. Later on, Ulfa established contacts with Inter Services brain (Isi) of Pakistan, Defense soldiery brain (Dfi) of Bangladesh, the Afghan Mujahedeen and other terrorist-insurgent groups of North-East and committed a series of atrocious crimes to generate terror in the State. Since 1989, Ulfa Chief of Staff Paresh Barua, however, has denied the alleged link of Ulfa with Isi as a 'heinous conspiracy of New Delhi'.

Ulfa continues to be active but has lost its credibility to a great extent due to its involvement in the mindless violence, killing of lowly people and lumpenization of its cadres. On January 2007, suspected Ulfa extremists killed at least 62 Hindi-speaking Bihari daily labourers, workers of brick kiln, petty-traders and roadside vendors in Dibrugarh, Tinsukia and Sibsagar districts of Upper Assam. Its popular support has reduced but not fully erased. There is still an fundamental condolement about Ulfa in the greater Assamese society, especially among the underprivileged, middle-class and intelligentsia. "A section of the intelligentsia, however, uses the insurgent affect as a shortcut to get personal objectives and fame. It is not a rare irregularity in Assam to find a respected intellectual advocating the insurgent cause, of procedure from a safe distance and carefully balancing constitutional restrictions and revolutionary babble. Many among the more sober intellectuals in Assam prefer to declare a deliberate silence on the issue." (Sunil Nath, Assam: The Secessionist Insurgency and the relaxation of Minds) This condolement among its home-population is Ulfa's key strength.

The HuJi and Rss-Bjp factor

Harkat-ul-Jihad-al Islami or HuJi is a fanatic terrorist outfit formed at Pakistan in 1984. It initially operated in Afghanistan, then at Jammu-Kashmir and later was extended to Bangladesh in 1992. Banned in Bangladesh since October 2005, the objective of HuJi is apparent from their one-time slogan: Amra Sobai Hobo Taliban, Bangla Hobe Afghanistan (We will all come to be Taliban; we will turn Bangladesh into Afghanistan). It is a deadly terror outfit operating from the coastal area of Chittagong south straight through Cox's Bazaar to the Myanmar border. In modern years, this Bangladesh lesson of HuJi has been found to be responsible for a whole of terrorist strikes in India with the active assistance from Isi.

Since 1998, unconfirmed reports were emerging about HuJi-Ulfa links. The relationship was proved in 2003 from the confessions of some arrested jihadi militants and reconfirmed recently when members of HuJi were spotted in the Silchar district of Assam along with a few Ulfa members. HuJi is reported to have assured co-operation and logistical support to Ulfa and help them to find shelters in Bangladesh. Reports has also indicated that HuJi is giving a three months soldiery training to youths and helping them to infiltrate into Indian locations like West Bengal, Assam and other North-East states.

The Rss (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) - Bjp (Bharatiya Janata Party) consolidate has built up a wide network in the districts of Udalguri and Darrang in modern years. This consolidate has influenced a section of the Bodos along with a small section of Assamese, Bengalis and Nepalese to mobilize against the Muslims in many places of the state. In the name of detection of the suspected 'Bangladeshis', numerous harassments and atrocities are imposed on those Muslims who had nothing else but located in Assam long back and became a part of the broad Assamese society. The modern clashes and rampant violence between Bodos and Muslims that has swept over many areas in Udalguri and Darrang districts from October 3, 2008 is the consequent of this evil organize of Rss-Bjp. "...the rifts and conflicts engendered by the group violence among the Bodo and Muslim communities will be sought to be utilized by the divisive, group and fundamentalist soldiery to their benefit and thus additional endangering the peace and unity among the people." (Uddhab Barman, Behind the modern group Violence in Assam, People's Democracy, 19 October 2008) Accordingly, after the October 30 serial blasts, Bjp leader L.K. Advani took no time to blame illegal Bangladeshis (read Muslims) as the main presuppose for breeding terrorism in Assam.

Consistent violent campaign against Muslims with the increase of the Rss-Bjp consolidate in Assam has created adequate ground for the increase of group and fundamentalist soldiery among the Muslim society (Muslims constitute nearly 30 per cent of Assam's population). Taking benefit of this chaotic situation, HuJi and other fundamentalist Muslim outfits are gently penetrating deep into a section of the Muslim inhabitants and brain-washing them towards Islamic fanaticism. Ulfa leaders, being pushed to the wall by the mounting emphatic operations of Indian safety soldiery have been coerced to enslave them in the hands of the Isi for survival. Today, Isi has sheltered all the top leaders of Ulfa in Bangladesh. The outfit has abdicated its core ideology and acting now as their local agent in Assam and the North-East.

Conclusion

For some decades, Assam is passing straight through too much of tears and blood. This stunningly beautiful state and its people are struggling hard to come out from the curse of their own history. Secessionism, insurgency and terrorism are like the mythical Phoenix bird - self destructive but able to resurrect from its own ashes. Assamese people did clutch them all - like a drowning someone clutches a piece of straw.

Dealing the problem from a fascistic perspective, the widely spread jingoistic approach of the Rss-Bjp consolidate will be a catastrophe. The problem cannot be dealt as well with a feeble, compromising and brush under the rug approach - as implemented by the Congress party. The people of Assam are bearing the brunt of this breed of politics for long. It also cannot be dealt with reactionary parochialism - like the provincial politics of Assu-Agp. The distressing reality for Assamese people is, that they do not have any other alternative to choose.

The Indian State should first and prominent study the people and learn how to generate a condition that will itself refuse to enlarge any popular condolement or support towards the secessionists, insurgents and terrorists. An unbiased approach towards the political problem of secessionism and a firm measurement to strike against terrorism is the definite approach to deal the Assam crisis.

I of course don't mean that the investigations are harder to show the way in regards to gambling on sports for law enforcement. I am referring to the fact that spouses can of course hide their betting habits with the online forums without their spouse even knowing about it. This is particularly true in relationships where one spouse trusts the other one to do all of their banking online while they are putting money on football games, boxing matches and horse races in their spare time.

The legal industrial world seems to be getting more open about gambling on sporting events. Former Governor of Minnesota Jesse Ventura is now a spokesman for BetUs.com. Ventura has taken on the gig to promote the ideals of personal relaxation and freedom in his opinion. Many population view the process of development wagers in the same light. I'm sure that many population would like to see gambling restrictions on sporting events lifted. This could very well be a feature of Ventura's platform if he seeks social office in the future.

Now of policy he would not have been allowed to have a job like that as a supplementary revenue while he was serving in social office, but with Ventura being able to ink that deal just shows how mainstream the idea of putting money on sporting events has become. Former Utah Utes and current St. Louis Billikens head coach Rick Majerus would bemoan the hypocrisy of retention a argument tournament in Las Vegas or Atlantic City where there are slot machines, card tables, etc. All over the place and then these young basketball players would have to attend meetings on the dangers of gambling.

It is also amusing to some how corporate television stations like Cbs will run advertisements while a game about how gambling on college games in particular ruined the lives of so many young people-while in the next breathe be encouraging population to fill out their brackets for the Ncaa Tournament office pools. After the point shaving scandals that were discovered at institutions like Arizona State and San Jose State you would think the Ncaa would either take the question of gambling more serious and not promote it in such a back handed way or else be more realistic about the fact that so many population share in it.

Wayne Gretzky's wife was even supposedly placing bets on the Super Bowl through then Phoenix Coyotes assistant coach Rick Tocchet. Although it appears that Wayne nor his wife of course ever bet on any hockey games. Of policy the Pete Rose saga and his time as boss of the Reds is well documented. lesson 1 - The Dimensional Leader: The Line of Resistance

--Assisted Living In Phoenix of lesson 1 - The Dimensional Leader: The Line of Resistance--

advice lesson 1 - The Dimensional Leader: The Line of Resistance

A Story Line

lesson 1 - The Dimensional Leader: The Line of Resistance

One of my beloved movies of all time has to be Walk the Line starring Joaquin Phoenix and Reece Weatherspoon playing the roles of Johnny Cash and June Carter respectively. Immediately I purchased the movie soundtrack, and ultimately when the movie came out on Dvd I acquired it and became an instant Johnny Cash fan. The suspect for this immediate buy-in was his estimation to overcome some obstacles in his life starting with his drug addiction then his battle to gain the love, respect and acceptance of his father. I detected some similarities from his life that mirrored my own, with the exception of the music and singing of course. Among the obstacles in his life or what I call lines of resistance were his drug abuse and the "father issue."

For example, at one point in the movie there is this scene where John and his friends are drinking beer on a concert stage just hours before an afternoon performance. While this scene June Carter, the supreme professional, walks into the auditorium dressed and ready to perform. She then challenges the tour team to stop drinking and shape up since their current behavior was endangering their capability to achieve and finish the tour with dignity and integrity. She became so upset with them that she began to throw empty beer bottles at them exclaiming, "You can't walk no line" as she walked away from the stage area. She was referring to their drunken stupor and their lackadaisical and carefree behavior, which if continued, would bring these communal performers to their demise.

Although Johnny Cash was experiencing a promising and successful start in the music industry, he was limiting himself by drinking and popping the pills. This behavior was threatening his music career, his communal image and his marriage. To be a great and enduring performer at any age you need to be at the top of your game mentally, emotionally and physically. You cannot be on the top of your game while compromising with drugs and alcohol. June Carter was simply conveying a strong message of personal restraint, discipline and integrity so that they could continue operating at a high level of excellence. Johnny Cash was jeopardizing and destroying what seemed to be a great start in the lucrative music commerce by manufacture poor decisions. In other words, he was not able to "walk the line" in his drug induced condition. It was only later in life that he put his life together and lived a great life as a Christian leaving a heritage of struggle, but also of a someone who overcame his lines of resistance. Today he is imbedded in the hearts and minds of many Americans as a country music icon.

The request you need to ask yourself is, "Am I doing the right things to ensure that I am 'walking the line' towards my destiny?" Are you currently manufacture the right choices to ensure that you are following God's plan for your life? In this book I will show you how you can cross and overcome the lines of resistance that will confront you at some point in your life. We will all face them at some point, but the request is do you want to live within these lines for the rest of your life or do you want to overcome them? Let's start by defining what lines are. Then we can take a look at some examples.

Defining Lines of Resistance
A line is a mark that is preset, distinguishing a division in the middle of two positive places. A line is a place of resistance where an opposing force comes against you attempting to restrict and hinder your transmit movement. A line of resistance is something that opposes and keeps you in a limited, impeded, fixated position or a place where you feel constrained and living a life of mediocrity. We all live with some personal limitations either we inflict them upon ourselves or the imposition of them comes through our insecurities, our personal fears, our personal history or just our lack of knowledge and experience.

Lines of resistance can also be attributed when others exertion to inflict them upon us. For instance, a commentary out of line like, "Joe, you will never whole to anything!" can be a demeaning and hurtful statement that affects us down the road of life. Some children will grow up emotionally crippled by these words while others will use them as the means of motivation to prove their nemesis wrong. We will elucidate life's inconsistencies and cruelties differently than others, but there will be something embedded deep within us that will exertion to limit us in some way.

There are other names for lines such as personal constraints or lids. Anyone you want to call them we will encounter lines of resistance sometime in our lives. To accentuate my point let me forewarn you with some fun and bright examples that will carry my point about lines:

- In baseball you have a baseline and a line that marks a home run. Nine innings is the line for an whole game unless the two teams have equal scores that require extra innings. To win games you have to become a great team who is skilled in both offense and defense, hitting and pitching respectively. The lines of resistance can be Anyone like the distance of the field, the wind factor, pitching prowess or lack thereof, even a capable defense, team strategy and personal limitations of skill and strength.

- In football you have to cross a 10-yard line to get the first down, sufficient of these put you over someone else line where you are awarded six points. Then you are given the opening to kick the ball in the middle of two vertical lines to add an extra point or at times you are award three points. However, at each exertion an equal force of eleven men who are trying to "hold the line" is opposing you. Crossing these lines require personal skill, durableness and strength, coupled with the capability to play effectively with your team members. The lines of resistance are obviously the opposing team, their size, power and defensive strategy.

- In firm you have deadlines, and those of you who are businessmen or businesswomen understand the point of manufacture those deadlines. When you miss your deadline it may likely hurt the bottom line. Here, the line of resistance is probably attributed to poor management skills, possibly a disgruntled laborer or the lack of transportation among key team members.

- A belt buckle has holes that characterize lines and these lines tell either you have gained or lost weight, but consistent practice and well balanced meals each day can trim and control your waistline. The line of resistance is an unwillingness to discipline oneself on a quarterly basis.

- When a man attempts to compliment a woman he uses a "line" in the hope of attracting her. When a bad line is used she will let you know that you were "out of line." You probably need to take some etiquette classes because you lack the valuable communal skills to talk to women. The line of resistance here is the lack of coarse sense. This line is commonly referred to as a respect line.

- There are emotional lines. Some of us can control our temper and keep it at bay while others live life with a short fuse. Angry citizen do not seem to have many friends. This kind of temperament can turn into a lonely line. Counseling for anger management may not be a bad idea to pursue if you want to overcome this line of resistance.

These examples are not exhaustive by any means, but they do carry the point that I am attempting to create. There are commonly two types of lines that are coarse to everyone; boundary lines and lines of resistance. Boundary lines are normally salutary in nature since they are imposed by our parents, lawmakers, and coarse sense or by accepted wisdom. These lines are meant for our own good and well-being. They are designed for our protection such as looking both ways before crossing the street, observing speed limits or the accepted wisdom of "don't drink and drive." These are good boundary lines that we need to honor and respect because they are meant for our protection and the general welfare of those around us.

Lines of resistance are lines that we need to identify, break and overcome as they keep us in bondage or constrained inside a box of limitation. Have you ever heard the cliché, "Think surface of the box"? Well, there are times when we need to take that saying a step additional and be carefully to "Break out of the box." It is not sufficient to think anymore, at some point you have to take action to break out of your puny condition into a separate dimension of wellbeing and doing. Sound thinking is needed to start your breakthrough but your next valuable step is taking action to make things happen. Your thinking needs to turn into action at some point so that you can yield the results that you seek. Desire is a good and commendable starting point but it means nothing without diligence breathing life into your situation, thrusting you transmit manifesting your much needed breakthrough.

For instance, a someone with good transportation skills is most likely to be promoted over a someone with a low verbal quotient. It could be that the someone with a low verbal quotient is afraid to speak out in front of citizen for fear of being ridiculed and rejected by others so they will tend to hold back their opinions that may be useful on a team. This mindset may come from their personal history where possibly a educator or a peer in a classroom setting made fun of that student's response to a request at some point. This someone may now live with a personal constraint line of the fear of speaking in front of others. This scenario can breed insecurity or affirm a fear of speaking in front of others.

I know this scenario first hand since I experienced it myself but I don't live with that limitation anymore. What helped me overcome my fear of speaking in front of others was a speech class that I enrolled in at college. It was a safe place for me to learn since everyone else in the classroom was just as nervous as I was to speak in front of others. Over time and exposure I became more positive in my capability to speak in front of people. Today I am an join together pastor at a large church where I speak in front of small and large audiences all the time. Do I still get nervous before speaking in front of others? Yes at times, but it has become easier to speak in front of a live audience since I do it regularly. Now my goal is to become a great communicator, one who can motivate citizen and bring transformation to their lives.

A Shepherd Boy's Experience
In this book I will show you how three separate citizen attempted to restrain the young shepherd named David. They attempted to limit David's abilities and hinder his mobility toward his ultimate goal. David possessed such a salutary self image of himself that none of these lines of resistance affected him in any negative way. He was able to hurdle over these three lines of resistance with ease. If he overcame these hurdles with ease then we must ask and rejoinder these questions, "How did he do it?", and "Am I able to do it?" In this book you will learn how he closed his mission and became the famed and loved hero that we read about today.

We all possess some personal constraint lines, again, either they were imposed by our own personal history or by someone else. The request is which side of the line are you currently living in? Have you taken the time to identify the lines of resistance that try to limit you? Once you study your lines then what will your plan be to overcome them in your life? There is a place where you can know when you have broken through your lines. It is referred to as the line of demarcation, a place that tells you when you have overcome the line of resistance in your life.

The Line of Demarcation

Now let's look at the word demarcation. It is a word that means to discriminate or remarked in the middle of two points. To take it a step further, a line of demarcation marks the end of something and the starting of something new. It marks the end of the line of resistance and the starting of a new place of living and experiencing life. Again, I am providing some examples from the sporting realm to accentuate my point:

- In baseball there are lines of demarcation about what is and what is not the strike zone. There have been a lot of arguments in the middle of umps, pitchers and coaches as to the demarcation of the strike zone; the distinguishing of a ball from a strike. In some games umpires can have a low strike zone while in other games the same umpire can call strikes consistently high or inside. When it is a bad call the fans normally let the umpire know by their boos. Even the fans have their own line of demarcation when it comes to distinguishing in the middle of the lines. In a game situation even the pitcher has to work with the umpire to understand his strike zone and adjust to it.

- In football when there is a dispute about a fumble the coach on the opposite team will call for a communicate of the play by throwing a red flag onto the field alerting the referee. Upon viewing and reviewing the call on the field the referee judges either the knee was down on the ground before the player lost the ball or not. Many times there is a fine line of demarcation to affirm or overturn the call on the field. There has to be conclusive evidence to overturn a standing call on the field. At times I have seen calls that have been overturned and have led to one of the teams losing the game. These calls depend on how the referee judges the line of demarcation. The line of demarcation is often a fine line but one that we have to learn to distinguish if we want our breakthrough.

A Football Player's Metamorphosis
My son was an excellent football player who played first string positions in offense, defense and special teams While his High School prep football seasons. He played so often that he rarely got a break on the sidelines to catch a breath of fresh air. The joke around our house posed in request form was, "Man, are they ever going to allow you to get a breather?"

His genesis in football, however, was dismal at best and I wondered if he would ever play the game well, until one day he had a metamorphosis of his own. Prior to his high school years he played in the Nevada Youth Football League. He had never played the game before but wanted to passionately play. He had one small problem; he was timid when it came to tackling others which is a major part of playing the game. Whenever he would tackle a player he would grab on and wait for some of his teammates to join in on the tackle in order to sustain him. It seemed as though he was fearful of hurting someone or being hurt himself. This was a personal constraint line that he imposed on himself probably because of his lack of palpate of playing in an actual game. In my best appraisal the line of resistance in his life was probably fear due to a lack of knowledge and experience.

One day there was an choice play that took the running back around the side and down the sidelines. My son was playing the defensive end position and followed the play well. He ran toward the sidelines and gained so much momentum running that he just happened to meet the running back on the sideline at the right angle, at the right time with the right whole of speed and force. He had no other choice but to plow him over by his shear momentum. It was a great site for any father to see as both of them went crashing down, kicking up dirt and grass as they tumbled and rolled on the ground. As he got off the ground I knew something had happened to him on the inside; there was a monumental convert in his stride as he strutted back to the huddle. It was While this time that I discerned his fear had lifted and he had gained a new level of reliance as a gridiron man.

He had crossed over the line of demarcation. When he got back into the huddle with the team they famed with him as they smacked his helmet with their hands, a sign of acceptance into an elite fraternity of gridiron men. I noticed that in the plays that followed he was not intimidated anymore. For him tackling was not a bad thing after all. He had tasted the palpate of a tackle and liked it; therefore, he crossed the line of demarcation and great himself from his fear of tackling others by himself. My son had broken through the lines of resistance in his life and went on to have many more successful prep football seasons as an all around team player. The fear factor is probably the most debilitating line of resistance for many people. However with exposure, the right words of encouragement coupled with commitment, Anyone can break the fear barrier. David was one of those who somehow did not know that fear existed; he had not lived long sufficient to taste its paralyzing effects.

David and Goliath
There is a story in 1 Samuel 17 about two armies that had come to a stalemate. The Philistines busy one hill while the Israelites busy another. The battle lines were drawn at this middle ground and for forty days Goliath, the Philistine giant, would go down to this line in the middle and taunt the Israelites. The story line goes like this:

A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. He was over nine feet tall. He had a bronze helmet on his head and wore a coat of scale armor of bronze weighing five thousand shekels; on his legs he wore bronze greaves, and a bronze javelin was slung on his back. His spear shaft was like a weaver's rod, and its iron point weighed six hundred shekels. His shield bearer went ahead of him.

Goliath stood and shouted to the ranks of Israel, "Why do you come out and line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and are you not the servants of Saul? choose a man and have him come down to me. If he is able to fight and kill me, we will become your subjects; but if I overcome him and kill him, you will become our subjects and serve us." Then the Philistine said, "This day I defy the ranks of Israel! Give me a man and let us fight each other." On hearing the Philistine's words, Saul and all the Israelites were dismayed and terrified.

For forty days the Philistine came transmit every morning and evening and took his stand. (1 Samuel 17: 4-11, 16)

Goliath was bright King Saul's best men to a duel; a one-on-one contest that would settle the winner. However, no one dared to come out to face him since they were paralyzed with fear. However this day did not take God by surprise. He in case, granted a way out of a tough place by sending forth His chosen servant. On this day He would summon a young boy by the name of David out from the shepherd's fields and onto the battle field; from his duties on the pasture to his destiny in the battle field. On this day David was promoted from childhood to manhood; from working in the pastureland to serving the king in the palace (Psalm 78:70-72). A "shepherd field" was a real place but it also acts as a metaphor that resembles a "womb"; a place where someone is initially advanced in order to enter and occupy someone else dimension of leadership. A shepherd field is a place of preparation, and development to gain the palpate needed to achieve at someone else level of service.

One day David's father, Jesse, sent him on a covert assignment to see how his other sons were doing on the battlefield. David was assigned to bring back news of their condition. However this covert execution turned into an overt opening for David. He found his brothers on the battle line in a serious predicament. The request was, would David cross over into his destiny or stay on the wrong side of the tracks? Biblical history shows that David "walked the line" and won a great victory for Israel. This book explains how he did it.

David's Three Lines of Resistance
There were in effect three lines that David had to cross to distinguish himself from the crowd and as a champion. They were:

1. Eliab's Line - Eliab represents the line of criticism. Eliab attempted to limit David's movement by criticizing him severely. When you read through the story of the prophet Samuel's visit to Jesse's house to anoint a new king in the place of King Saul most of us would sympathize with Eliab's emotional state since he was the first one among David's brother's to be overlooked as the new change (1 Samuel 16:1-14). Something like resentment festered inside Eliab's heart from this point. Sometime later while he was serving in the king's army Eliab was still stewing over his rejection and oversight by the prophet. It just so happened that Eliab encountered David on the battle lines inquiring about the reward for fighting and defeating the giant. Eliab detested his brother and his actions, which were clear in his words and tone. Any weak minded individual would have been crushed hearing these words from a member of their own family, but David was able to hurdle over Eliab's commentary and overcame this line of resistance. His brother's vitriol did not limit David from progressing and accomplishing his mission. He moved onto his next step with dissimilarity and honor. David was brought to the king himself.

2. Saul's Line - This line represents an authority line; a test of either David could sway his leader with his abilities and gifts. After David's short dialogue with Saul, David was given permission to face the giant. What leader in his right mind would send a young man to confront an experienced fighter? What did David say to garner the respect and permission of the king? One thing is for sure, David would not have confronted Goliath without the consent of the king. If we are going to face our "Goliath's" we need to seek after and receive the permission and blessing from those in authority so that we can move transmit with our calling and mission in life.

3. Goliath's Line - Goliath's line represents the line of fear and intimidation. David may have been oblivious to the unfolding events of this day. As the day unraveled so did the revealing of who David in effect was. This event propelled him into his life's purpose that is often called destiny. Before we can possess our destiny we must first confront and pass the test of intimidation. Intimidation and fear will stare you down just before your promotion. It will be the enemy's last line of resistance to hinder your transmit movement and promotion. At this point we have a choice to make, on one side a mediocre life awaits you, but on the other side of the line your destiny also awaits. The suspect we were created is within reach it is just one step of obedience away. We were created to rule and expand God's kingdom on earth using the gifts and abilities that God wove into us. This particular day was David's day of promotion and he crossed the line of demarcation and walked into his destiny and became known as the one who would slay tens of thousands.

The line of demarcation is a fine line but you will know when you have crossed it because you will have great yourself from the crowd. Are you currently distinguishing yourself from others around you? If you are not then you need to face your lines of resistance and overcome them. If you are then I congratulate you for a job well done. This book explains and shows you how you can identify and break the lines of resistance in your life.
